They are now looking for a Senior Software Engineer (java) for their office in Dublin, Ireland.
Role: They currently have a vacancy for a Senior Software Engineer. This position will see you analyse, design, develop and deliver software solutions. Your tasks will include;
• Planning, design and development of technical solutions in line with client requirements
• Doing daily system development and maintenance activities of the team to meet service level agreements
• Creating solutions with innovation, which are of high quality, reasonable pricing and getting it to the market in efficient timing
• Teaming up with vendors for support of the company products
• Conducting feedback sessions and doing research on current and upcoming technologies and application appropriate frameworks
• Completing system maintenance, maintaining incident crisis management, detecting the origin of the cause and on-call pager support schedule
Skills: The ideal candidate should have a bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent work experience. The chosen candidate should have at least 3 to 5 years experience in software engineering or a related area, preferably they will have 3 to 5 years experience in delivering secure solutions in financial service sector. Experience in designing internet or server applications (Websphere, Apache) is required, along with strong knowledge of the following technologies; Java, Oracle, DHTML, XHTML, SQL, JavaScript, XML, JUnit and AJAX. The candidate needs to have excellent communicational skills both verbally and written, be organized and highly motivated, pays great attention to detail, and has a passion for IT and a strong understanding of software engineering concepts and methodologies.
