Company: Our client is one of the major manufacturers of plumbing products, home furniture and industrial engineering based in US. They operate worldwide and they are now hiring Credit Analyst with fluent Italian or French or Spanish language to join their team in Gloucester.
Role: As a Buyer you will be reporting to the Indirect Purchasing Manager and you will be a part of the European Purchasing structure of the Shared Services Centre.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing sourcing strategies for specific areas of spend
- Leading and managing purchasing activities for selected categories
- Developing working relationships with customers
- Driving supplied performance to meet the business productivity requirements
- Building and maintaining supplier and market knowledge
- Proposing new solutions to business processes
- Other duties as per manager’s requirements
Skills: We are looking for a candidate with a degree in Business or Accounting/Finance and minimum 2 years previous experience in Purchasing Department. Excellent organisational and time management skills are required for this role. You need to be fluent in French plus you need to be fluent in oral and verbal English.
Knowledge of SAP would be an advantage.
