Role: In our client`s European marketing team, there is a new position available for a Dutch speaking market development representative. A market development representative is responsible for supporting the market and sales teams through generating leads. Their tasks include, qualifying inbound and outbound leads, building relationships with the heads of the company`s desired accounts by identifying and meeting their project needs, transferring the solid leads to the appropriate departments, maintaining good relationship with the sales and marketing teams by facilitating and simplifying their work load where possible i.e. participating in product demonstrations, meetings and putting innovative ideas forward. Other responsibilities are ensuring you know the products inside out and know the competition, being able to meet targets throughout the year by management and improving work practises to the best of their ability to achieve the best results.
Skills: The ideal candidate must speak fluent Dutch and fluent English and have a bachelor or equivalent degree in marketing and business. A minimum of 1 year previous experience in customer service, telesales or similar role is necessary for this position. Candidate must be decisive, highly motivated, enthusiastic, have the ability to work in a team and possess excellent communicational skills both verbally and written. Basic IT skills such as the use of Microsoft word, excel, internet explorer etc. are beneficial to the role. The candidate must have the ability to quickly learn and understand the procedures and products of the company and the products of their rival companies.
