Technical Support Representative near Amsterdam, the Netherlands DX2397

Company: Our client is a renowned hardware company with more than 30 years of experience. Their state of the art peripheral technology is recognised and used by a number of companies around the world. They are now recruiting a tri-lingual technical support representative for their office in Hoofddorf, the Netherlands.

Role: In our client’s European technical customer service/sales team there are new positions available as technical support representatives. A technical support representative is the first point of contact with the customer and is responsible for managing their queries and ensuring that they are fully satisfied with the solutions and the service. Supporting customers on these products and services requires a technical mindset to understand the products and services, how they work, the environment they are in etc. Their other tasks include, being assigned to their applicable language region and answering the call and email queries regarding the company products, investigating problems with the equipment and the software applications and suggesting corrective measures, participating in web chat to support pre-sales or post-sales customers and assisting in the organizing of customer service statistics. He/she should manage each problem that arises until it is resolved and improve work practises to the best of their ability to achieve the best results

Skills: The ideal candidate must speak native French, Spanish or German along with fluent Dutch, Italian, Spanish, French or German. Also fluent English is necessary. . The candidate must be decisive, highly motivated, enthusiastic, have the ability to work in a team and possess excellent communicational skills both verbally and written. An interest in IT and knowledge of Microsoft applications such as word, exchange, internet explorer is an advantage. The candidate should have 1-2 years previous experience working in a similar role, be able to work independently and follow policies and procedures to resolve a varied amount of issues
