French General Ledger in Switzerland DX1897

Company: Our client is an International Shared Service Centre that has centralized their European Finance & Accounting function in Switzerland. They manage their EMEA Accounts payable, Accounts receivable, payroll and tax from this office and are growing the team so they can cover all EU markets.

Role: The candidate’s tasks will be the reconciliation of the general ledger accounts, you will be responsible for prepare and verify the accuracy of journal entries, perform research and analyse financial data. As a member of this team you will calculate payments, verify documentation and prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements. In addition you will prepare cash forecast and will be involved in Project Controlling.

Skills: To be considered for the role you will need a good knowledge of the French accounting system with a Finance or Business Administration degree and at least 5 years General ledger experience using the French method. Candidates with SAP knowledge and good commercial skills are preferred. In addition you will need to speak native level French plus fluent English. Candidates with previous knowledge in a Shared Service Centre environment or international finance operation are preferred as there will be a large number of transactions and processes to understand.
