French exports customer service in Amsterdam, Netherlands DX1839


Company: Our client is operating in a nice market but in their business they are well known as they are the global market leader. They have expanded progressively over the past 20 years in Europe and the US with operations all over Europe and the US. They have their European centre based in a young and dynamic city just outside Amsterdam!

Role: This role is very challenging customer support role. You will liaise on a daily basis with non-European based internal and external clients to ensure supply and demand of products meeting each other.
In this role you will calculate prices, issue offers and give advice to customers about the documentation package needed, you will also control letter of credits’ orders. Furthermore you will be responsible to troubleshoot any problems and support the management team with ad-hoc tasks.

Skills: To be considered for this role you need to have a good understanding of the meaning, operations and role of an export customer support team. Experience is required but not necessarily needed if you can compensate with a relevant business degree.
You will need to have knowledge of Trade laws and regulations (Exports, Imports and Incoterms). Furthermore you are a real relationship builder and have excellent communication skills both spoken and written. We require a language combination of French and English to fluent level and SAP knowledge.
