German Business Development/ Account Manager in Bayern, Germany DX2802

One of their offices is based in Bayern from where they support their core markets. Their Bayern operation manages sales and customer service and finance administration. They are now looking for a German and English speaking Senior Business Development Manager for their office in Bayern, Germany.

Role: In our client’s European office there is a new position available as a Business Development Manager. The senior business development manager is responsible for generating and developing new business. Their tasks include, generating new business sales, meeting business sales targets through processes and procedures of the company, developing and creating strategies to establish and increase German markets, managing and communicating efficiently with the German sales team in order to achieve the main objectives, putting forth suggestions regarding bettering the product development and overall the productivity of the workplace. The key to being successful within this role is teamwork; the position requires excellent communicational skills, providing support and coordination for the sales team and building relationships with co-workers and clients.

Skills: The ideal candidate must speak fluent English and German and must have a bachelor’s degree in Engineering or something relevant. Preferably the candidate should be able to demonstrate ability to manage the sales cycle, maximize sales opportunities, cross sell, close deals, negotiate contracts, prepare RFI/RFP and forecast sales opportunities. The candidate must be decisive, highly motivated, enthusiastic, have the ability to work in a team and possess excellent communicational skills both verbally and written. The candidate should have good IT skills, have an ability to use outlook email, CRM tools, and Microsoft word, excel, PowerPoint and the internet. The candidate should be able to manage and build a client base.
