Technical Solutions Consultant in Dublin, Ireland DX2760

Company: Our client have several global operation centres that support a range of financial shares service, customer service and technical support services. Their offices speak 30 + languages and have over 20,000 employees globally. They have large global clients that they provide, shared service, customer support, technical support services and helpdesk support solutions for. There are currently positions on offer for technical solutions consultants to join their Dublin team.

Role: In our client’s Dublin team there are new positions for technical solutions consultants. A technical solutions consultant is responsible for the following,
• Managing end to end all calls logged, providing regular updates to customers on call status
• Supporting and consulting major customers until they are satisfied with the services and solutions
• Representing the company at trade shows, meeting face to face with vendors and customers
• Suggesting solutions to complex installations or configurations
• Developing good strong relationships with fellow colleagues, particularly with the sales team and communicate well with your colleagues to share information and to collaborate on problem
• Troubleshooting, diagnosing and correcting technical faults, using your technical and diplomatic skills, and guiding the caller through the necessary steps to restore functionality
• Having the ability to be confident, assertive and engaging when dealing with existing and potential customers.
• Answering queries in an appropriate amount of time without compromising quality.
• Managing each problem that arises until it is resolved and improving work exercises to the best of your ability to achieve the best results

Skills: The ideal candidate must speak native or fluent English, with preferably a 2 year completed degree either technical or non-technical. Potential candidates should have hardware and software knowledge of computing, storage and peripheral devices and advanced ability with case management databases and tools. The candidate should be a team player, highly motivated, interpersonal, have excellent communication skills, strong analytical skills and have a creative and problem solving attitude.
