Partner Channel Sales Manager in London DX2815

Company: Our client is a global leader in infrastructure management software solutions, solving some of the world`s most complex IT problems. They have their headquarters in the US, with several offices worldwide. Their team of experienced IT sales professionals sell hardware, software and information security products to new and existing SME customers. At the moment they are looking for a partner channel sales manager for their office based in London.

Role: In our client`s European team there is a new position as a partner channel sales manager. The partner channel sales manager is responsible for marketing and managing a reseller channel within Europe. Supporting IT products requires a technical mindset to understand the products, how they work, the environment they are in etc. Their tasks include, developing annual business plans, which clearly lays out the steps for success for their assigned partner/channel accounts, reporting to the manager, forging strong relationships with partners and their customers while focusing on the strategic nature of the relationship, finding new sales leads within the target market, interfacing with management negotiating and influencing to build consensus, developing a full understanding of all sales propositions being made across the company`s different channels and assisting in the assembly of bespoke sales responses within these channels and assisting resellers in establishing sales and market strategy.

Skills: The ideal candidate should have a university degree and have a minimum of 3 years previous experience in enterprise software sales or business development and have at least 1 year experience in portal software and Microsoft industry and SharePoint. The candidate must be decisive, highly motivated, organised, have good interpersonal skills, an ability to work in a team and possess excellent communicational skills both (verbally and written). The chosen candidate should be able to demonstrate ability to manage the sales cycle, maximize sales opportunities, cross sell, close deals, negotiate contracts, prepare RFI/RFP and forecast sale opportunities.
